Frequently Asked Questions

What is going to be on the Taube Koret Campus?
The campus will be a vibrant new center for the South Peninsula's dynamic and diverse Jewish community. The campus will be the permanent home for the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center (formerly the Albert L. Schultz JCC).

The Campus will also be home to the 899 Charleston Jewish Senior Residences and will provide offices regional headquarters for the Jewish Community Federation, the Bureau of Jewish Education, the Jewish National Fund, Jewish Community Relations Council and the National Jewish Coalition for Literacy. Welcoming everyone, the Taube Koret Campus will be a beacon of light to all and a model for 21st century planning and design.

How do I sign up to become a member of the Oshman Family JCC?
We will not be soliciting memberships until 2009. But you can make sure we contact you for special Charter Membership offers by signing up for our current
Albert L. Schultz JCC monthly e-newsletter.  It will bring you updates both on what's happening at the JCC's current location and progress reports on the Oshman Family JCC.

How much will membership fees be for the new Oshman Family JCC?
We have not set the rates yet but they will be comparable to other JCCs that offer full programs and a state of the art fitness center. We will offer both full memberships and program memberships so that there's a program that works for everyone.  Be the first to register for membership by getting on our ALSJCC mailing list now!
